Which printers work?
Anything that prints an HTML page or a PDF. Brother QL-820, Zebra ZD421, Canon Selphy, a plain office laser. No proprietary hardware lock-in.
How fast per check-in?
Median 4.1 seconds from QR scan to paper in the tray. Thermal label printers hit 2.8s.
What if the printer jams?
Staff-assisted mode has a Reprint button per attendee. Failed print does not double-charge or double-check-in.
Cheaper than Cvent OnArrival?
Included in your event fee. Cvent OnArrival is a separate hardware rental at ₹50k+ per event. This runs on your own iPad and printer.
